The Brighton Digital Festival is well underway: SheSays Brighton‘s lunchtime event was a fantastic success with 85 talented women crammed into the Lighthouse Arts and we left totally inspired by Tracey Allen of SEA PR. Thanks again to all who came along especially to Mindorchard for sponsoring the event.

I managed to get to all the main conferences including Clearleft’s dConstruct. This event always sells out the Dome, and included a fantastic talk from BBC Connections legend, James Burke.

You can listen to all the talks from dConstruct including an inspiring talk from Jenn Lukas, founder of GirlDevelopIt in New York, about getting women into code. I was also lucky enough to get a front row seat to Brighton SF to see sci-fi legends Brian Aldiss and Jeff Noon share their stories… fascinating to get a glimpse into their worlds.

Brighton Digital festival continues throughout the month of September with lots more events.

Coming up next month is TEDx Brighton with some brilliant speakers including the awesome Chris T-T.
